Hey guys, nice to be a part of your community.

I've been using photo shop from number of years now, I use it for all my graphics for websites. I want to create a website homepage banner heading that contains a couple of links that take you to different places on the website. I've included a website that shows you exactly what I mean. The easiest way would be to use hotspots within the website editor, I'm using Joomla!. However JCE website editor does not have this facility. So I was thinking that it may be possible to use slices maybe, not sure. Basically I could create my two links within photo shop, and then make them so that when I put the image into the editor, I can put the URL of each image. I don't know if this is possible or not.

Hi, sure, you can use slices to give an image different targets for links. Basically slices divide one large image up into several smaller images then puts those images into a html table. Since those are all now individual images each one can have its own link. Create the image and slices in Photoshop, then add the links in your web site editor.

You also can create hotspots by coding directly in html, but it is a bit of work.
