Hold on.... I think I get what you mean.....

The shapes in the image are small to discern but if it's the edges you mean, they looked beveled to me. Create and use the pillow emboss setting in the Inner BEVEL effect style. Make sure to unclick "Use Global Lighting".

Add a shadow effect layer to the shape layer to complete the look.
