I am trying to re-create a banner that already exists on a web page to get the same effect. The web page fclewisboro.com has a banner at the very top that has the club logo and 2 images that are connected with a curved border and the rightward part of the image has overlayed text as seen there. I want to make the same type of banner with the same curved connections and borders for the 3 images but can't seem to figure out how to do it. I would greatly appreciate some ideas about how to approach it. I am using photoshop cs6 and dreamweaver.

Are you accustomed to using layers. We need to ascertain the level that you are at, so we don't sound like mumbo jumbo to you.

Yes I have worked with layers. Although I am no expert at photoshop, I know my way around it to some degree.

Use the pen tool to create the the curved shapes, make a selection, then colour them in. Then place your images on different layers underneath the shapes you have just made, and mask off any bits that overlap the curves, and the blending options of the curves to whatever you like.
