Hello everyone!

flagg.png

I would like to transform this line of flags into a circle. But, my skills aren't that good, so I was wondering if one of you guys could tell me how to.

I am no PS expert, but I don't consider myself a noob either.

Can someone please help me? Any help will be very much appreciated!

Thank you in advance,

Martin.

Hi Martin,

Personally, I'd use Illustrator for that. Draw the flags as they are, group them together. Open up the brushes palette, drag the set of flags onto it. Draw your circle, then with the circle selected, double click the new "flag brush" that you just made. This will then stroke your circle with the flags. It's very unlikely that they will fit perfectly around the circle, so just play around with the stroke thickness and the size of the circle until you're happy with it.

:)

Thank you for replying mate.

I made all the flags into squares, and used the polar coordinates option in filters->distort.

Finally I used the free transform option to make a nice round circle.

:)

or yes, of course, the polar co-ordinates filter! :) I don't really use the displacement / art filters in photoshop. I should really have a play around with them...
