Create vector Path..i am doing it wrong..

Guys help me..i watched youtube on how to render images and the problem is whenever i click
"create vector path", instead of clearing the background my image turn to this:


help me guys..please..

Hold Ctrl+Shift+i. This will invert you selection and delete the background and not the figure.

In looking at your screenshot, I can see that you have the Pen tool selected and you have a layer mask on your original image.

When you say "click on create vector path", where are you finding this option?

Do you mean create vector mask?

i think its because of th pen tool settings
