create oil sheen look

Hi there
I would use the dodge tool, altering the opacity to get the desired effect, you could also use the brush tool set to white and control the flow. You need to gradually bring up the highlights. Don't forget when highlighting dark areas you need to set it to 'Shadow' in the top tool bar. Do you have a sample of your work so i can get an idea of the context?

View attachment cover.pdfHi sorry for delayed response, and thanks so much for yours. I haven't used the dodge and burn tools before. As you can see, right now i have a black background. i had the thought of trying to give it a bit of a rainbow-ish oil sheen look.. can you explain how i'd use those tools to do that? thanksView attachment cover.pdf
thanks!
