Create animated GIF which displays alternating text?

I'd like to create an animated GIF which displays 3 different lines of text in turn, with maybe each scrolling in from the right or left, then remaining static for a couple of seconds before the next line of text appears. Is this possible to do in Photoshop CC? If not, what's the easiest (ideally free) way of doing it?

I was looking for advice on how to do it myself
Great! What's your experience with Ps? Have you made GIF's before? Do you want to learn frame animation or video animation? Do you want the lines of text to scroll from the middle of the canvas or from top then bottom, or both?

Even though you may not know how to make a working GIF, can you post a screenshot of what you have so far? Like text or background?

I have very limited knowledge of Photoshop (I'm using someone else's setup!), but have done a fair amount of basic work in the past (creating basic images and text, resizing, using layers).
I'm not sure whether I need from or video animation....the desired end result is to have each message scroll in from the left or right, replacing the message that preceded it. Here's a screenshot of the first line of text:

With this in mind, this would be a good place for you to start.

We need you to have some basic idea of how GIF's are made in Ps so you can understand any explanations we have to offer. What your asking about is very simple once you have a basic understanding of how to make simple GIF's in Ps.
Thanks for that. I managed to get to grips with the timeline and have now produced my first animated GIF!

I have one issue with it....I selected the "loop playback" option, but when I open the GIF it only plays back once. Any idea how I can get it to loop infinitely?

You have to choose "Forever" from the playback options.
