Could not use tool due to program error

Hello, I am new to the site, but not new to adobe. I just got cs2, and everything was working great. When I add text to something, and then highlight to change the font size, it gives me this error. Could not use tool due to program error. It has worked great all day, and then just did this. I did close program and restart and still happens. Any help would be great, thank you.
