Just want to know how to correct images taken from nokia 6600 ? Here's a sample

Here's what I could think about it.
1. Autocolor
2. Curves Adjustment
3. Noise Ninja

Nice job..I tried to duplicate your moves by using the autocolor, a slight curve adj. and Grain Surgery..
It failed me...I've always like GS but it definetly failed me on this picture.

Here's another try. I think both of your jobs significantly enhanced the original image. In this case I first tried using Photoshop native tools only and gave up to use three of my specialized plugins. I first used Neat Image to work on the grain issue. (I ran it twice with the same settings although the second application made little but subtle differences.) Next I used Levels to adjust the white point. Then iCorrect Edit Lab to deal with the color cast followed with Focus Magic to sharpen the image.

I'm going to try without any 3rd part stuff...

Here it is..I started out by simply dup. and set to screen...I couldn't clean it with the channels it had so I used the APPLY IMAGE to mix a little of the green channel into the blue, Blurred the blue channel, then used channel mixer and color balance...until the colors look right to me.

Once I had the picture colors the way I wanted them, I merged the layers and duplicated it. added a stronge blur to the dup. and masked to reveal all. with the brush set to white I brought the blur back in the forehead, cheeks and neck (using the far option after every stroke to allow some of the noise thru)

Ok EvilN you can stop looking at me...lol

Nice job Lasa, thanx, anyway I think it's better to take pics in daylight rather than repairing them later in ps :surprised:
