I waswondering if anybody has the answere to my question about can I
copy a layer to another psd project?

Here is the situation:

Im having 2 nearly similar pages and on one page i made a ribbon and I want to copy this ribbon to
past it into the other page.. hope somebody could help me.

Select the layer you want to copy. Select/All. Cntl/Command C. Open other document Ctrl/Command V. Bingo, new layer as a copy of the other one. That what you need? Best to have your images set at the same size.

If you don't care about the position of the ribbon in the other document, you can also use this method: select the move tool, select the ribbon layer, and drag it to the other document. (btw, ctl/cmd + A, keyboard shortcut for select)

If you don't need that method now, you can store it for another time.

I made it in this way..

Klick on the Layer, select it with the "M" tool.. cmd x ..open the other Layer and cmd v

yeeeey..

Now, cmd/ctrl x is a shortcut for "cut". That's fine if you intended to remove it from the original layer. It's gone from that layer unless you paste it back or close without saving. Anyhow, ya Got er Done! all that counts if you didn't lose something in the process.

That's what I suggested,,but he chose to follow another path...alas..lead the horse to water etc.
