Compression/Noise Issue

Hello, I am new to this forum and in need of some help and quickly. I am an invitation designer and have been doing this for 3+ years and never come across this.

For some reason, my jpeg files that I email to my clients are very compressed looking with noise all over the image. I haven't changed anything I am doing and the psd file looks great on my end. It only happens when I send the jpeg through email or upload it to dropbox.

Does anyone have any idea why it would suddenly be doing this?

The only way you can get a definitive answer is if you post both your PSD file as well as an example of the JPG file that looks bad to you. If we have at least that info, we can rule in or out the possibility that there is a problem with your files.

That being said, I *seriously* doubt if the problem occurred because of some problem with email or Dropbox. For example, if those services corrupted an Excel or a Zip file in even the smallest way, people would be in a furor because they likely wouldn't even be able to open the (slightly) corrupted file.

If you only see the problem after using email or Dropbox, it's much more likely that you are viewing the file in some way that is not optimal. For example, Google Mail's large photo preview feature is really grubby looking, but if you download the actual file, it is fine.
