Hi, would really appreciate if if somebody would edit the photo below:
I would like the compass rose, reducing in size and being moved to the upper left hand side of the picture keeping the map intact.
The compass rose could be reduced by say 50% - just free up space where I can write on the map later.

Hope above is clear, appreciate any edit.

Thanks and Kind Regards

Mark

Movement of compass means when it is moved, one needs to know the information that should exist in its place on the map.

Do you have another image of the map without compass?

I would like to use the modified image as a logo, but because the compass is too big the text ends up over the compass and looks messy.

Thanks

This is moving in the right direction, is there any chance of keeping the map section below where the original compass were less blurry if you know what I mean?

Would be really appreciate if you it could, I have tried watch the YouTube videos, but to be honest I am lost with Photoshop.

Kind Regards

Mark

Of course we understand you and know what you mean. The problem is that you may not understand that there's really no way to reproduce the map area that lies beneath the compass. Too much missing information. This is why @polarwoc asked if you had the original map.

If we remove the compass, there's no information below it. It would have to be "faked" or "cloned" and this would be labor intensive and time consuming.

Hopefully someone will come up with a good and acceptable solution.

@chrisdesign - good job on finding the map! I did some searches last night on antique navigation maps. Found the original and the artist for the one the OP posted. But couldn't find the base map layer.
I'm curious - how did you manage to find it? Image search on Google is what I was using...
