Hi,

New here,
Iv come on to try and work out how to fix a corrupted photo.

Basicly the photo has been split into three section, the right hand half of the image is as it should be, the left side has split into two parts and top moved bellow bottom. Then the colours on the left have all come out of sync and turned a little blue, and very pale.

Iv managed to fix the order and get it all lined up. However Im a little stuck with the colour issue.

Any help please?

Go into your history and undo everything, and start fresh. Looks like you Marqueed only half the image instead of the whole thing.

Oh, Thank you. Can i ask how? Or is it too much to explain, should i just continue to practice?

Import photo
Duplicate layer
Cut up photo to rearrange it, used Marquee tool (right click, layer via cut)
Merged two left photos into one
Auto tone and color on both (Image - Auto tone)
Left side still felt a little cooler than the right so I added a warm filter to it (Image - Adjustments - Photo filter)
And then I removed the big line down the center using the clone stamp tool and the healing brush zoomed into roughly 200%
Merge all files, export.
