Hi! I'd like to know how can I change the color of an element from a given image.

I've got the attached image, and I'd like to change the yellow shape by recoloring it to red.

May someone help me, either telling me how do I do that, either doing it for me? :) Thanks in advance!

Alright, MisInformed already did a nice job of getting you some options, but I thought I'd try to walk you through the steps just in case you run into something like this in the future.

Open your picture in photoshop and go to select->color range. In the menu that opens, set fuzziness to a low number (less than 5, I'd say) then click on the shape that you want to change the color of (anywhere in the shape is fine). You should see a black and white image in the 'select color range box'. Click okay, or accept or whatever the confirmation button is (don't have PS in front of me). You should have your shape selected now. You can either fill in the selection with a brush, with the paint bucket, or with a fill selection command (right click the selection while you have a marquee tool selected) to change the color.

And that's it, hopefully it makes sense...

See I just learned something! Thank you mozartdminor! I have never been able to figure out how to use the color replacer. Very cool!!
