Hi all experts,

Here I have 2 pics.

Pic1: I simply use NVIDIA plugin to make it look kind a “3 d” or it’s crafted out of
wall.

Pic2: I scanned from an art book (a real sculpture).

I am not trying to get the pic1 to have all the thickness, depth like in pic2, I just wish some could help me to change color on pic1 from gray to whitish like on the pic 2.

Thanks ahead

so in other words you used a bump map generator, that's for texturing in games you know :P
i can imagine just using levels (cntrl+L) would give you your result, just play around with it.

Thanks Zeealex, but I didn't seem to succeed with that. It's appeared having too much light and the bumps seem got flatten out.

This method uses the blend if option, underlying layer. I have not tried to fine tune it. Just to see if this might be close to what you want.
I made a white-filled layer above, went to blending options, layer effects. go to bottom of dialogue box and use underlying layer. alt click the white slider to split it in half, move the halves separately till you get an effect you like.
