I'm curious. How did you do that and get such a natural looking white? I have tried changing colors to white and not gotten good results.
I have come close be desaturating the original and then painting white on a new layer and playing with its opacity and layer blending.
Just a quick tip: don't use the same selection 3 times, because if you ever have to edit your selection, you need to do it in 3 places.
Here are just 2 examples of how to do it differently. The added benefit is that you can now use the masks of the adjustment layers without risking to mess up the selection.
