Clone stamp not lasting

Whenever I use the clone stamp tool, it only stamps what I have copied for a few times before it goes all wonky and starts stamping weird stuff that I didn't copy and I have to go back and copy what I want again. It's frustrating as heck. How can I get the clone stamp to stamp what I copied all the time?

Can you post any sample images or screenshot of your screen ?

Click and drag over the area you want to replace or correct..you might be cloning the new areas and stamping it which is why it looks weird? But I agree, a picture would help

post what your working on so we have a clear picture of what's going on.

But your problem may lie with your clone tool ALIGN setting box checked. Uncheck it.

Thank you for telling me about the ALIGN box. That fixed it.
