Clockwork handle

Just another question, how would you make a clockwork handle look realistic when photoshoped in on a real person ?

I don't understand your question, do you want a person as the handle on a 'clock?

So you want to put that windup key on the back of a person? If that is the case you need the key, person, transform tool, the list can go on and on, without seeing what the images to manipulate look like or are you looking to draw from scratch?(That could be an major undertaking)

I haven't yet shot the photographs, and I was going to see if there was any tyoe of brush I could use for the key

No need for a brush with this. Look for stock images of a key in keyhole or take the shots yourself. Then have your human models pose to suit the key shot positions. Finally, compose the 2 elements as a single image in PS.

If you do find that brush you will still have to align it, color it, shade it. You might be better off taking a picture of a key and manipulating that

Thankyou I don't suppose you will know how to answer my other thread 'need some help' will you ? I'll be shooting the lines and hooks on the same day as my model so the lighting is roughly the same

Idad's given the best suggestion in the other thread. This is where a bit of imagination , warp and clone tool work comes intto play.

The same goes with the above. But in this instance, a key brush may not be a good idea coz you have to suit the key perspective to the model's pose/s. Thus... take a shot of your model. And with the pose in mind, shoot the key at the same angle as if it where sticking out from the model.

I may have an answer, not necessarily the right one.
I will not purposely try to lead somebody into something I'm not sure of though. but that's what's great about this place if somebody doesn't know most likely another member will. so if you have questions don't hesitate to ask
