ClipX v1.0.3.2 for Windows (freeware)

Do you hate it too that Windows offers only one clipboard? Now there is a new program called ClipX by Francis Gastellu.

Copy the things you want to copy (text, urls, graphics, etc) and use Shift+Ctrl+V to pop up a menu where you can select the data you want to paste.
I'm a beta tester for this program and I can tell you that it's;

- free
- fast
- very small; this version uses only around 400KB, no matter what you copy
- stable
- simple to use

Keep an eye on the program, because developments continue.

If you have any suggestions, please let me know and I will discuss it with the programmer.

I hope you like it :)

Yes and no. It doesn't work when you're dealing with transparent areas.
The program however was not intended for this purpose and to be honest; I also don't see a need for it in Photoshop, unless I'm wrong of course. :)

Since Photoshop uses its own clipboard for drag and drop , and I think partially for copy/paste operations (as there are registry files to allow pasting of images bigger than 4MB in other programs), having some sort of multi clipboard "? la" (shudder) office would be nice!

What would be the use for such an app? Or is it meant for those not running Windows applications?
Windows Office offers a 24 entry clipboard. The app you are testing isn't usable in Photoshop...so, tell us more about what apps you can use it for. Multiple entry clipboards are handy on occasion...
