Cleaning in photoshop

Hi

I have some old archive fabric hangers i'm scanning and cleaning. Does anyone have any idea on how i could do this. essentially i need solid colour and lines. I've tried doing some of the noise filters but i'm not having much luck,

Can you post the actual image/scan for testing?

when I say cleaning, i mean removing all noise from the fabric texture in the scan so i can index the file down to around 5 colours. The file size is 524MB so i'm not sure if i can upload it here.
