Hello. I'm hoping somebody can show me where I can find explicit directions for the following:
I need to make an image that's circular, i.e. take an existing photo and crop it to be a circle. I already know how to do this with the elliptical marquee tool -- just use the tool to crop out the circle, then copy the selection into a new file with transparent background. But there's more....
What I don't know is:
1. How do I then add a 1 pixel white border around the circular image (and also make sure that the border is smooth and not jagged).
2. Now that I have EXACTLY what I want, in the right size, I then need to do it 250 more times, for 250 different photos. They all have to be exactly the same size. I can't possibly start from scratch each time, because I'll never get the same size as the first one. How can I use the first one as a "template" to make more of the same?
I've looked around for step-by-step directions, but I can't seem to find what I need.
I'm using Photoshop 7.0, if that helps. I know it's old, but it's all I can afford.
