Tried a Christmas card photo today and was a bit of a rush so it didn't turn out well. I'd like to combine myself and the dog from the frist photo with my kids in the second. I'd also like to make if feel more Christmassy by adding some snowflakes and ornaments to the tree. I also don't feel it looks as if the kids are planning to cut down the tree if anything can be done there.

Re-positioned subjects, added axe tip, added light snow and holiday lights. Made an overall color change to give it a "wintry effect."

This one is pretty good and maybe the best it can be. My only criticism is maybe it’s cropped a little too much, I was going to add a Christmas border and I know when I order post cards the online service likes a large perimeter
