Changing flags (request)

At this point, I have provided instructions as to how to do this as well as a clean version of the crest so that it is very easy to apply the new flag. I feel that you should do it yourself. I, for one, am done messing with this. If some one else wants to do it for you, good on them.

I tried it for a long time now, but as I said before, I'm terrible when it comes to this. The result you gave me is wonderful, but I find it a little bit disappointing that you used again the first flag I posted, even after I asked explicitly to use the new flag.

But thanks for your help and your time. I really appreciate it!

I have no doubt that you tried doing this yourself. However, I do not believe that you have tried using the method that I outlined above. What I described is not that difficult; especially if you use the version I posted above that already has the old flag colors erased. You should at least give it a go.

If you can't be bothered to do the whole process of warping your own flags, then this is the easiest thing for you to do:

1. open the flag that I completed as a background layer

2. brush over the sunny face that you don't like with white color (don't worry about the black lines over the face; just paint over them as well)

3. copy the new sunny face onto a new layer (layer 1) above the background and get it into roughly the right position

4. rotate the new sunny face with "Edit > Free Transform"

5. distort the new sunny face with "Edit > Transform > Distort"

6. finally, restore the black lines by loading the cleaned up version that I posted above as a new layer above everything else. if you use the both of the files that I provided, they will automatically line up with each other since they are both the same size.

It worked! Thank you very much, rufinatti, for all your help! I thought it was impossible for me to do, but thanks to the versions you already made and your clear explanation I could. I really enjoyed it!

Final result:

All the credits to rufinatti ;-) Thanks, mate!
