Specific Changing colour of a stair's

Can some one with some photoshop experience help me out plz thanks in advantage. I dont have xp working with this programme i would like to see how it will look if the stair's will be in a satin black colour we are thinking about painting it. Would be great if som1 can help me out. Greetz
