Changing clothing color using color picker

Hello, for several weeks I haven't been able to solve one problem. I have a doctor's coat that I want to adjust to exactly the same shade as the square on the left side. So far, I've only managed to do this with HUE saturation adjustments and color range (for some reason half transparent colors are not affected), but that's not the result I'm aiming for—I would like to specify the color, for example, by picking it from the rectangle next to it, and have the coat's color adjusted to match.

The second issue is that even when the color is selected, the coat's outline remains blue, which is quite noticeable. Could you advise if there's any way to achieve identical shades as in the square on the left? (I have many images that need to be adjusted like this for the website.)

Hello.

Here's one of many ways.

Open your document.
Copy the original layer.
Add a layer mask.
Make a selection of the scrub top

Add a Black & White adjustment layer, clip it to the copy layer of the original.
Adjust until the scrub top as light as you can go...........here it's a light grey.

Double click your foreground color and this will open the "Color Picker"
Select the color of the sample.

Now open a new Solid Color Fill adjustment layer and fill with foreground color.
Clip the Solid Color Fill adjustment layer to the copied original layer above the Black & White adjustment layer.
Set blending option to Darken.

I have one last question – how can I highlight those discolorations in the hair? No matter what I do with brightness/contrast, that part of the image ends up looking artificial. Also, the outline around the apron doesn’t want to be selected. Would the best method be selecting by color, or is there another way to handle this with a mask? Thank you!

Hii @__CiN__
One thing that might help is to add a blank Layer set to blend of color, sample the color the the hair with the eyedropper tool and paint just the wisps of hair to change the color
Here is a screen shot cut and paste to show the result.
Just one consideration
