Guys,

Is there a simple to change the yellow portions of this existing image:
bg_lines.png

To a dark red: #a01312

I was hoping there may be a 1-3 step processing using either filters, masks or or some other 'clever' method.

I am a newbie so dumb-proof clear instructions would be very helpful! :)

Thanks for your help.

yep just go to image adjustment hue saturation and change the channel mode from master to yellow

Wow, thanks iDad and Hoogleman! Awesome....thanks for providing pic!

But, just one question:

When i attempt to go to the image | adjustments | Hue....

I see that "hue" is grayed out and unavailable as an option. Is there something I need to do to the pic in order to get access to this feature?

Thanks so much
Jason

check your image mode, put it at rgb .maybe?

Thanks -- I solved this by the following (either seemed to work):

a. Flattened image
b. I think I may had a 'mask' assigned. Got rid of it
c. Just reimported image

It was so easy.....wow, awesome. Really helped me!

Cheers
