We had so much participation last year that I can't imagine the Challenges slowing down or losing all interest. Is everyone too busy at the gym getting rid of holiday fat? Maybe a lot of folks are on vacation?

Is it because this latest challenge (Challenge 7) isn't about zombies, death & destruction, or the end of the world as we know it?

C'mon guys and gals, what's up?

Im somewhere in the mid intermediate level....... not up there in the advanced guru level...... cant compete with you guys that much.

Nonsense Ron. Think of it being more like a challenge for yourself and not a competition with anyone else. Throw something together and put it out there, you might be surprised! I know I was. I consider myself to be at the novice level. I've only had Photoshop since August 23, 2012. If you don't challenge yourself, you can't get any better.

I am away 5-6 days a week for work that is sometimes a 36 hour work day or more when they really mess up lol. and that really takes up my free time by the time I have got back home I catch up with people that need catching up with and sleep.

The challenges are designed for fun, but especially to learn new skills. Tioga, look up the challenges from last year and 2011. Lots of new techniques showcased in those. Anyway like Sam said, give it a shot. You don't have to post it, but you might be very surprised.

Hoogle! Nice to see you. You are absolved. I hope you're liking the new job. But, you are missed here.

I'm currently classed as a mature student, which is taking most of my brain power to remember all the maths I am supposed to already know before taking the course.

That makes me think of when I had to take a math exam so I could qualify for chemistry and physics classes in college. A professor there gave me a basic algebra book to study before the exam and I not only passed, but came out of it qualifying at a level well over my real knowledge! Luckily I didn't have to take any more math classes. Would've been dismal! The science classes were tough enough, but with tutors and study sessions before class, I actually got As.

I'm having to learn the molecular structure of rubber, I'm good with the structure of ethanol.
ch3+ch2+oh is what I have loved for 15 or more years.
That is along with the maths, Quadratic and simultaneous equations make seance to me. Loggerythems are not so easy.

I'll be honest, the current theme doesn't appeal to me. While I respect those that do, I don't have a desire to be a parent at all! Unless of course you include a pet parent ;) I love all of my animals for sure.

Horses for courses mate, most have other interests that are not always the same.
The one defining factor here is that we all love Photoshop, other challenges have fell off the rails before.
They bounce back when people are ready to.
Tis the nature of the forum industry (any forum - any subject matter)...

For me...Quite tough, as this is not what I do....I shoot / grab on the fly and hope PS will make me look good

Where I'm at so far.....
