Certification...?

There are lots of "certified" folks here phil. And some have nothing to do with computer software. [stuned] ;)

I myself am not, so i can't tell you much. I took the pre-test exam on Adobe's site a long time ago and found it fairly straight forward.

I think the term "hard" is relative in this type of situation. If you're prepared, there's less chance that something will seem hard.

You mean "certifiable" Mark... that would be me! :righton: ;)

I'm also not ACE... but I've thought about it. I can't imagine it hurts... if you can afford a $150 test every year. heh. It's not going to open the golden gates of heaven for you either though. The most important thing you can do is have a good portfolio. Anything else is just gravy. :)

I bought the Certification Guide for PS 6 and did the sample test from the CD.
Being a smart-ass I scored about 90%. The pass score is something like 75%.

Alas, when I enquired about sitting the ACE test PS 7 had been released and the PS 6 test was no longer available.

I'd agree with MindBender we're certifiable, who needs another bit of paper to prove it.

Seriously folks, a good portfolio is worth a lot more.

.. and I did not sit the ACE exam, after catching up on V7 they brought out CS. [upset] ;)

Cheers Al.
