Center objects as GROUP, fail :-/

Would like to horizontally AND vertically center objects as a linked group. So that object 1, object, 2, object 3, will retain the space between them, but still be centered in the screen / selection area. So far all I can do is center one object, if I try centering as a group this just centers all objects in the center, on top of each other.

This should be a feature of Photoshop, it would save me so much times, anyone got a way to do this?

Ridiculously appreciated,

Travis

Place all the layers into a 'Group' and center the group to the background.

A quick way to 'Group' layers is to select ALL the layers you wish to keep together, hold down 'Shift' and click the 'Group' icon (3rd from right at the the bottom of the layers panel).
Obviously exclude the background if you want to 'center' the group to it.

To 'Ungroup' use the 'Bin' as normal and select 'Group Only' from the window when prompted.

Regards.
MrTom.
