Career in Photoshop

Hi everyone, My passion as always been in photography and photoshop and have a couple of questions.

I want to turn my passion into a full time freelance career. I consider myself a newbie and want to learn everything possible but where do i start? What learning path would you take?

Also is it possible to make a full time career from photoshop?

Any advice would be great.

Well right now finding a job or gaining a carreer from ps is hard from all the epidemics in the world, people are looking for jobs to help the economy . I want to get a job inps and photography also, but it will be very difficult. I am not telling you to give up, but to keep trying. Have fun and good luck.

Photoshop alone is unlikely to get you going in the industry. Check with training institutions, look at help wanted ads, find out what people are using to make images, videos, etc. It takes multiple software skills, as well as talent and hard work, and a little good luck, to be able to fashion a graphic design or photography (which involves more than software of course) career.

The trick is is never to stop trying. Even if you're down, don't stop trying. I would certainly look for a job myself first, the economy goes next in line.

I would recommend watching Photoshop CS6 Essential Training by Lynda and doing many random tutorials around internet after that.
