Can't unlock color dynamics/transfer settings

Hey, my name's Sasha.
I was painting with Photoshop CS5 and all of a sudden the color dynamics locked. I can't unlock them; they're permanently faded. Also, a section of the transfer settings is faded too, the one I use to adjust the differences in pen pressure.
I've tried pressing ctrl + alt + shift while Photoshop opens, but that did nothing. Is there a way to fix this?

Did you get a pop up box asking you confirm deleting the preferences file?
If not you didn't do it correctly.
