Can't run action with a vector being resized. (can anyone spot the problem here?)

Hi there.
Hoping for a little guidance here.

I have a photo shoot coming up next month (1400 portraits) and I have to add a company logo to the top left of all the images and then resize them and save them.
I started to do some practise on this last night and had my vector logo imported to cs 5 and I had a separate image to place it on.
I began recording the action.
I began by hitting v and holding alt on the vector and dragged it on the other image.
I then used ctl +t to resize the vector logo on the target image.
I then flattened the 2 layers (ctl+e)
I resized and saved out.

When I ran the action on another image it got only as far as resizing the vector (NOT on the target image but on its own canvas)and then would go no further.

Any ideas?

Thank you all for any feedback.

Need a little more info.

Are all the photos going to be the same size? Is the logo going to be the same size on all of them?

Yes, on both counts........the vector that I transform on the target image will be the correct size I'll be wanting for all of them, and all the shots will on saving out all be resized to the same dimensions in height and width and pixel.

Ok well in that case why do you need the action to resize the logo? Just resize it and save it first before making the action. Then all you need the action to do is resize the photo, open the logo, copy it to your photo and position it. Is that correct?
