Cannot move layer

Cannot move layerHi ,
I have problem with moving layers , i cannot move with them , the same thing in Photoshop,
- recently everything was normal
Please help

Are you trying to move the background layer?

Is the layer locked?

Check image mode be sure it's not on indexed make it RGB or right-click the layer palette image does it have an option to remove background? Remove background if it does.

Good point, iDad. I hardly ever use indexed color, so I didn't think about that as another possible cause. But it certainly can cause this problem.
