Specific Can someone please fix the flash glare in the middle

The photographer forgot to aim the flash up and it really ruins this otherwise great photo.
I tried to fix it myself but this is way beyond my skill set...
I uploaded the original image without any of my amateurish adjustments, feel free to enhance any other parts of the image if you so inclined.
Your help is much appreciated.
