Specific Can someone help brighten this picture?

Hello

I have a basic understanding of photoshop but when I brighten this photo it doesn’t look very good.

Is someone able to help brighten it and make it look not so dark? (Or at least the part where we’re standing to be brighten as unfortunately there is a lot of light on the top right corner) Using the brightness tool alone isn’t giving the disred look...
