Can someone be removed from an image?

As the title of my thread says can a person be removed from an image so i can turn it into a wallpaper? And how would i go about removing the person. thanks

Usually its possible, but depends on the picture, location, color etc. If you post the picture we can help you out better.
As a first idea, try to use the stamp tool. Thats the basic thing to use. As i said, we can help you better if we see the picture
