what is that black box? in my time of using photoshop i haven't even seen it before?
can anyone explain what it is and how i can get rid of it please?!

Hi there.....
From the file name , I see you've got a shape layer of sorts in there. Is there a shape 1 layer in the layers pallete?
You could have created it and didn't realize you've moved it partially out of the canvas. Click and drag back in....

Thanks for your reply, but nope, its not that. I just deleted both shapes i had and the box is still there. I deleted all layers, and it still remains.
So frustrating as I dont know what it is, or how to get rid! any other ideas :banghead:
