I need to know what this symbol is and the writing but as u all know I don't have the tools ie photoshop to define this enough it's on pewter I think it's an old small cup? Will post pic of item and marking on the bottom

Thanks so far I have found nothing it's a very unusual stamp I found it at an old farm with some yves rocher items and a tams cup very weird items the pewter item is size of a shot glass it's tiny so I think it's either a cup or measure

I did a CSI scan the writing id defo from mid 13th century the image represents a pagan fallen star cursed to walk as a human or something?

When you become Jedi at shop you attain a higher level of consciousness and watching crappy TV shows helps, because anyone who understand a little of shop understands that 'Hollywood' is just that, i was being flippant with my words in original reply to you, my comments about the image i feel do resemble a weird early depiction of said pagan styled person though.

Maybe you have some sort of witches measuring cup, eye of newt/ear of frog etc:mrgreen:

Hmmm well I'm in uk and I don't have a clue how to PS I have PStouch on my iphone can't even use that =\ inside the star looks like a person stuck inside I found the item at a farm built in 1878 supposedly haunted so this pagan stuff is like freakin me out its 4am here I been looking since 10pm =\

Awwww thanks Inkz I've found nothing I dunno if its a cup or a planchette? For Ouija boards I been told :s
