I AM TRYING TO GET THE LIGHTING EFFECTS IN THIS PIC IN PHOTOSHOP AND I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO THE STROKES OF LIGHT AROUND THIS PIC....THE GRADIENT AND ALL THANKS IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW
 
This should get you started. you can also do some interesting things by adding bevel effects to a 'softened image'
