When highlighting a thumbnail in Bridge (CS3), the preview that comes up is sometimes an old photo that was moved onto an external hard drive and deleted from the hard drive that CS3/Bridge is on a long time ago, some are over a year old. The title is correct, just the image is way wrong!!! When I click on the thumbnail to open it, the correct image opens in ACR and/or in CS3 depending on whether it is a tiff or a .CR2 raw file. After saving the newly opened image, I go back to Bridge and the preview still shows the old year old image!
I've reset preferences both in Bridge and CS3 to no avail. At one time I had tried the trial version of Lightroom 1.0 and 2.0 but removed both (used Add/Remove Programs) and no catalogs exist on the hard drive, neither do any of the old images.
Is there a pathway I can use to find these old (possibly Lightroom processed) images and delete them?
