I just gave it a try with another car from netcarshow. It's a little jaggy because I grabbed a low-res image; but not too bad.

it's actually the vanquish; but all of their cars are styled so similarly that you may as well call it what you like.

Either way it's a car I'll never afford lol. Unless I win the lottery or something. Anyways I was foolin around with the image and found a cool effect you can do. I don't know how well it works for other images, but if you take the background layer and duplicate it. bring that to the top just below the levels adjustment layer. Change the blend mode to screen you get a look kind of like this.

lookin' good. like colored pencil. I do believe that I like that last image better than the original photograph of the car.

I thought the same thing when I saw it. It does look like color pencil
