Hello,
I am designing a book using photoshop & indesign.
I am focusing on the cover and on it I want is a montage of different new headlines. I am creating the individual headlines in Photoshop (using different fonts, colors, sizes. I am looking for some suggestions on some ways to go about this. I would really appreciate any help or suggestions.
Thank you,
Brad

I would just put them all next to each other. Make them different sizes, but enough so that they can fit on the book cover together. DONT MAKE THEM THE SAME SIZE, but def vary it. You could also use line or shape dividers as well.

You may also do something like big to small. I guess I'd have to see it more to understand what you are talking about.

In regard to using line or shape dividers, do you mean mlike hacing a border around the headline and just using line tool? If you could please ellaborate on this, and maybe sugest some examples/resources.
I am just having each individual headline on its own layer.

Thank you very much.
Brad

wait. so it's jst text?
and yes just having a border around it using a heavy line tool. like more than 5 or 10 px if its really going to be printed
try looking at some typography inspiration

Hello,
I am having trouble trying to create a border around text. What I want is to have a box around the text but cant seem how to create the box with no fill color? I really appreciate your help.
Thank you,
Brad

On a new layer use the rectangular marque tool to make a box around the text, then stroke the selection.
