Can anyone photoshop this to look absolutely awesome?

Would be very appreciated.

The idea behind this is to make the car appear out of focus, putting the focus on the background makes you think of the foreground more i feel:mrgreen:
It also looks fast standing still.

your editing is fantastic. I think you have done a good job. I really appriciate it. How are you exactly done this? What tools you have use here. Please inform me.

No plug ins just used a black and white copy of the original layer with a mask. Painted away layer to reveal color where wanted. Then used the dodge tool for bright areas and burn tool for the dark. lastly, I used the unsharp mask filter for overall sharpening.

hi i'm new to this used photoshop for a while just never done anything like this so i'd thought i'd post my attempt at this image

man, these are really good and I am feeling very insignificant on this planet. Actually, I thought the original pretty cool as it was. Hey, perhaps we can even up the ante by suggesting that instead of just redoing the picture their way they should do it the way they think Stanley Kubrick would've done it! Now that would be really cool
