Blending Perhaps?

I shot this awesome picture tonight of a treeline at dark. Would love to add a moon to the photo but I have hit a brick wall. To make it realistic I would like to blend the moon into the tree line so it would appear to be behind the trees. New to photoshop so I am not sure how to accomplish this. Any tips or suggestions?

you could try adding the moon as a second layer and using a blending mode like brighten. provided the sky isn't brighter than the moon...
