Specific Blend dog into background

HI I am trying to have the dog blend into the background I am having trouble with the fur and also trying to make her look dirty with smoke coming out of cigarette. I believe I need a smoke and dirty overlay. She is a rescue and want to make it a before photo of her dirty found on the streets then after will have her prim and proper.

It would have been easier with the original photo of the dog, but I tried in case it helps XD
