bleaching hair to

Hello, i am trying to figure a way to paint hair to a weaker color like white, but everytime i try it gets too artificial/unreal like this random picture




can someone please give me advices?

Maybe try to use a different layer type, like overlay or color

Try inverting hair are then apply color in overlay mod or color mode on separate layer

I just overlayed the desired color, changed the blending mode to Soft Light, then masked out the face and arm.

Works for red heads too !

I also warmed up the whole image...might be a bit red, BUT...she is not cold.
