Bevelled edge to canvas.

Hi,
I have created a snow scene and added a wide black background.
I have been trying without any luck to add a bevelled edge to the background where it meets the photo. The idea is to make the black background look like a card frame around the photo. I think the bevelled edge would be referred to as a pillow bevel with chisel corners.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

I don't really understand what you want but...

Try making glow around the snow scene instead.
Go into blending options of the Photo layer and select outer glow
then change these settings:

Blend mode: Normal
Opacity: 15% - 20%
Color: White ( click the square and select white color > ok )

Elements

Technique: Precise
Size: Up to you, depends on the size of the document.

Quality

Range: 50% - 60%
