Better way to change color than with the bucket?

I have an image that I want to edit:

2000px-Red_Bull.svg.png

There's a yellow circle, and a yellow border around the bulls. I would like to make that white. I tried just using the bucket to change the color, but it makes the border around the bulls very jagged and pixelated.

Is there a better way to change that color that will make it look smooth like the original picture?

Theres several ways to do it, one way is Select --> Color Range and then use the eye dropper to select the yellow/orange. New layer and fill with white.

on a mac?
use the magicwand (res is good enough for that)select the yellow> feather about 1/2 pixels >copy> paste new layer> color overlay
to have whatever color you want
