Best way to change the design on packaging in a photo

Hello,

I need to change the design of the packaging (for example totally red with McDonald's logo) in this photo I only don't know the best way to do this.
Can you guys help me out with tips and ideas?

Easy.

Just use a Smart Object (SO) mockup. Add a gradient to the SO image. Add a layer mask to the SO layer to reveal the chicken and add a shadow under the chicken.
