Began Getting Disk Full Errors when Saving New File

I'm using Photoshop 7.0 on a Windows 10 desktop.
Over the last few months I've been getting "Disk Full" errors every time I try to save a new PSD file anywhere except on the desktop.
How can I overcome that so that I can save a new file anywhere that I want?

It's either your scratch disks or your "save file disk" that's full or an older version of Photoshop( PS 7.0) issue.

A solution to fix the Scratch Disk full problem - https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-scratch-disk-is-full.html

shows how to set up scratch drives (you can also set up more discs) - https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/scratch-disks-preferences.html

If scratch discs aren't the issue, this error is frequently caused by older versions of Photoshop failing to recognize the partitioned drives.

Here is an old Photoshop Guru thread discussing the same issue-
